To overcome these challenges, the educationist across the globe are embedding effective use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to improve student teacher interaction. When ICT is embedded in education system – particularly for improving the teacher and student interactions using ICT, the phenomenon is usually referred as ‘E-Learning’. While realizing the significance of e-Learning for improving Education System, Education Division of OPF has launched its E-Learning Program in 2018. The prime objective of the program is to provide online lectures for imparting quality education to students studying at OPF educational institutions at far-flung areas of country. These online lectures are conducted from OPF’s flagship institutions situated at Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The e-Learning Studio Rooms equipped with necessary IT equipment have been established at these flagship institutions from where online lectures are conducted for the students enrolled at OPF schools operating across far-flung areas of the country. In addition to this, online lectures are also being delivered to Pakistan community schools situated abroad including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
